Nose - Stone fruit, dried apricots, orange sweets, spice, apples, toffee (with water) Unchanged but feels hotter. Taste - Stone fruit, dried apricots, ginger spice, fruit cream, apples, subtle dark chocolate dryness, spicy wood (with water) Same but drier and more bitter. Finish - Long ginger spice/tingle, toffee, fruity dried stone fruit (with water) Same. Score - 90/100 Final Thoughts - It's been some time since I tried this, and I'm pleased I revisited it; it's rather enjoyable. Excellent harmony between mild stone fruit flavors and a touch of woody/ginger spice that tempers the sweetness. Strangely, adding water seems detrimental as it significantly disrupts the equilibrium. A subtle ethanol and vanilla on the nose, with dried fruit and buttery spice on the tongue, leading to a warm, medium-to-long finish that retains notes of oak and spice. Delightful!
Cherry, dried fruit
