RD One Bourbon Finished with French Oak

An elegant, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged for a minimum of 4 years in American white oak barrels & finished with French oak staves. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & spicy life adds notes of sweet corn, cherries & vanilla; that led to a balanced death of medium length with notes toasted oak, chocolate & baking spices.

Pleasant flavor, but not quite as satisfying as the maple finish.
