Yesterday featured guavas with that single cask 10-year Penderyn. Today, it's oranges. This is also a 10-year, bottled by Pursuit Spirits, unfiltered and cask strength, from Dickel. The aroma is its strongest point, with oranges throughout. The taste is a step down, with some oak and a slightly metallic hint. The finish is a bit hot, but the oranges return. Overall, a rather good Dickel bottling—just a little too hot (needs ice or water), and that metallic note on the palate detracts from the wonderful oranges. Many thanks to my friend for the generous pour!

Nose: Sweet citrus and vanilla Palate: Creamy orange. Tastes like a push pop or Orange Julius! Finish: A long, lingering heat with some charred oak.
