About this bottle
This limited edition, Port Charlotte PMC:01, is the sixth offering in Bruichladdich's Port Charlotte Cask Exploration series. Distilled in 2013 from heavily peated Scottish Concerto barley (40 PPM), it underwent a minimum of 9 years of aging. The initial 4 years were spent in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks, followed by 5 years in ex-Pomerol Bordeaux red wine casks. The whisky was bottled in 2022 at 54.5% ABV without chill filtration.
