Planteray Black Cask Barbados & Fiji

Nose: coconut, very ripe pineapple / banana, wood, spices (nutmeg, mace, clove) Palate: fresh, alcohol presence, ripe fruit, slightly smoky Finish: short finish, spicy pepper, ripe fruit, smoky wood A very fruity and satisfying sipping rum for the price.

While not a perfect match for me, I'm awarding four stars for the evident passion and affection shared between the cognac and rum. It's an exhilarating connection that will captivate you.

The aroma matches the flavor. A straightforward yet balanced rum with significant coconut sweetness.
