Nose: smells like cedar and graham cracker, with some herbal and nutty undertones, feels oily. Palate: a thick viscosity coats the tongue with sweet cotton candy notes. Cola begins to emerge, accompanied by warm vanilla. The mid-palate features that familiar baking spice and graham cracker taste, with some rye spice appearing in the background. More vanilla and cola follow. The long finish transitions in flavor from sweet to savory. Very enjoyable. The cola flavor persists. Compared to 9 year: this bottle has been open for a year. Nose: citrus, vanilla, caramel Palate: less viscous and sweet than the 10 year old. Chicory with a slight cola taste. Subtle marshmallow and citrus notes appear at the end, possibly from the rye spice. The finish is of medium length.
