This release is among the initial three whiskeys introduced in Penelope's new Estate Collection, featuring limited edition spirits. The bottling comprises single barrels of 10-year-old straight bourbon, selected from various distillery locations and warehouse levels. Two distinct mash bills will be available: Single Barrel 21% (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley) at 98 proof, and Single Barrel 36% (60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley) at 105 proof. US distribution begins in October 2024, with SB 21% allocated to open states and SB 36% to control states. The suggested retail price is $89.99.

It starts with notes of oak tannins, root beer, and a strong grape soda presence. Cinnamon and herbal, grassy notes follow. The finish is quite long, lingering with an earthy herbal undertone and a persistent grape soda flavor. There's a noticeable and lasting throat burn. It's quite good considering the price.
Revisiting this because previously it just seemed like a typical bourbon. This spirit is a bit thick, with sweetness, and features nice vanilla and cherry notes. While not my top choice for sipping, it's definitely a respectable whiskey
Pleasant flavor that develops. A satisfying finish. The mouthfeel is somewhat thin. While not the most robust flavor, it's distinctive and highly enjoyable.
Spice is present at the beginning, concluding with a charred flavor. It's not as sweet as one might expect for a mash bill with 60% corn.
The aroma brings caramel and vanilla, followed by fruit on the tongue. I enjoyed it neat. A fantastic pour!
