Enjoyed a couple of pours from a friend, great proof at 108, drinks smoothly with a little mid-palate heat. Still possesses your classic bourbon notes and baked goods/sweet bread with a little heat at the end. Should have purchased a bottle when I saw it. A must-buy.

About this bottle
This bottling represents the inaugural Omega release within Penelope's Estate Collection. The process begins with an 11-year-old straight bourbon, formulated with a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. It then undergoes an additional year of maturation in unique French oak Omega barrels from Radoux Cooperage, known for their dense grain and specialized toasting. Bottled at 109.8 proof, 1,800 cases (six bottles per case) will be available at select retailers beginning September 2025. (Suggested Retail Price: $129.99)

I wish I had purchased another bottle. It's difficult to locate, but the proof is perfect, and the flavors explode through. It opens up more when you pour a second glass.
Very little on the taste, just oak. I had higher hopes.
Evokes a connection to Highland scotch.
