Peerless Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon "Smoked Limoncello"

Nose: Brown sugar, caramel, candied corn, light smoke Palate: Vanilla and sweet cream initially, transitioning to charred oak notes and tobacco. Finish: Some rye spice on the medium-length finish. Overall: I adore this bottle. I bought it straight from the distillery on my first visit to KY. I likely have only 2 pours left and will genuinely miss it. It's one of the most underappreciated single barrel offerings. I'll buy it every time I encounter it.

The aroma is dominated by intense wood char and pine. The mouthfeel is robust, opulent, and peppery, featuring pronounced barrel char, smoke, vanilla, and citrus zest. It concludes with a lengthy, warming finish. What I find most impressive about this serving is the distinct presence of the barrel influence. It fosters a genuine appreciation for American white oak, which I find appealing.
