About this bottle

A clear orange liqueur, Patrón Citrónge is crafted using the dried peels of both sweet and bittersweet oranges. These peels undergo maceration in a neutral spirit, and the liqueur is then sweetened with sugar. It serves as a substitute for triple sec in any mixed drink. The bottling strength is 70 proof.

Dallas Denton 4.0

Sweet agave on the nose. An excellent bright balance of sweet and mild bittersweet orange with a subtle agave undertone. Delicious on its own. It would easily substitute for Cointreau or triple sec. Not sold in Ontario.

Lakisha Mccallum 3.5

The smell has notes of orange, ethanol, and slightly aged tequila. The taste is sweet orange, a bit syrupy. It's pretty much what one would anticipate. Not bad at all.

Crystal Newton 4.0

Substituted for Cointreau in a cosmopolitan for my wife; she finds the citronge superior.

Alta Ho 4.5

This makes fantastic Margaritas. It's better and more affordable than Cointreau.

Gussie Kiser 3.5

Superior to generic triple sec and less expensive than Cointreau.

Emerson Barker 3.0

Suitable for Margaritas and reasonably priced.
