Ole Smoky Salty Caramel Whiskey

The caramel flavor is almost excessively sweet. There's still a faint whiskey-like sharpness. It's certainly a good choice for an after-dinner dessert drink. It could also serve as a good starting point for those new to whiskey and bourbon, or those who have been put off by it before.

Remember when you add too much sugar to your coffee, get annoyed at ruining it, but then feel overwhelmingly nauseous? This whiskey is like that.

The aroma and body are rich with salty caramel. Darkly decadent. Suitable for sipping, but don't hesitate to pair it with ice cream or use it in an ice cream shake or malt. Tasted in a rocks glass, cold.

You certainly get the advertised salted caramel flavor with a smooth whiskey heat. It might be a touch too sweet for my preference, but it's a wonderful after-dinner dessert whiskey!

Combine it with hot apple cider for a taste reminiscent of a caramel apple from a fair. It's delicious. Add a cinnamon stick and top with whipped cream for an amazing dessert beverage.
