This 14-year-old single malt comes from the Laphroaig distillery on Islay and was independently bottled by Douglas Laing & Co. as part of their 'Old Particular' series. The whisky was distilled in 2001 and aged in a refill sherry butt (cask #DL10877) before being bottled at 48.4% ABV.

A vibrant and light Laphroaig featuring signature peat and sweetness, yet softened by subtle highland notes. The finish is a bit shorter, likely because of substantial grain in the blend. However, it's a bold and unique choice for Laphroaig enthusiasts looking for a more playful drink. It resembles some of their less intense Cardhu expressions but with added depth.
