Overall fantastic. I find the oak a bit overpowering, and the tannins seem to slightly shorten the palate's duration, but it's a great whiskey.

About this bottle
This is the second bottling in Old Forester's 117 Series, a limited-release collection introduced in Spring 2021 and curated by Jackie Zykan, Old Forester Master Taster. It is a blend selected from barrels originating in Warehouse K, established in 1953. This facility undergoes heat cycling and has historically been used for Old Forester's single barrel selections. It is presented at 110 proof and was released in August 2021.
