Old Forester Single Barrel Wine Palace

This is the Women in Whisky 2021 selection. This one has significantly improved. I didn't like it on first taste, but its profile has certainly gotten better. 100 proof. I don't detect any prominent banana notes, maybe just a trace. The nose is sweeter than OF100. It definitely drinks with more intensity than OF100, as the taste and finish are much more peppery and spicy... almost too much, overpowering other elements. A very nice warming finish with the typical hint of cherry. It's definitely an improvement.
