A robust, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from IJW Whiskey in Kentucky, crafted using a high-wheat mash bill with an ancient wheat variety known as Old Emmer; aged for at least 4 years in new charred & toasted American white oak barrels and bottled at 52% ABV. It presents an aromatic beginning with notes of grain, fruit, wood & spice; while a rich middle adds notes of wheat, apple, sherry, caramel & vanilla; culminating in a candied end of medium duration with notes of oak & butterscotch.
