Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey

Aroma - canned peach juice, grass, cinnamon, an indistinct nutty flavor, brown sugar, vanilla, a mild burn from the ethanol. Taste - peach custard, vanilla cream, cinnamon, sugared pecans, brown sugar, rich simple syrup, orange zest, a mild alcoholic bite, finishing medium-long with peach syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon flavors. I concur with other tasters that the peach aromas and flavors are more dominant than the pecan. It strongly resembles the thick syrup found at the bottom of a peach jar. The nuttiness is subtle, presenting as candied pecans with caramelized brown sugar and cinnamon. Overall, it's comparable to other flavored whiskies: overly sweet and syrupy, not ideal for drinking straight.

An amber color with a touch of orange. The peach aroma is prominent. Peach is also the primary flavor, slightly sweet. Some nutty notes are present but difficult to pinpoint as pecan. Nice mouthfeel. The peach flavor persists. Overall enjoyable. Would be very suitable in the summer for a fruity option.

It's acceptable for a whiskey with added flavor. You can drink it straight or mixed, though it might be better suited for sweet iced tea or incorporating into baked goods. It could work for a summer outdoor gathering.

Now that's a whiskey for quick shots. The flavor is spot on with peach and pecan notes, plus a sugary sweetness. Not ideal for slow sipping, but good for downing and likely makes a fantastic cocktail.

A babysitter gave me a bottle of this, and I ended up finishing the whole thing and immediately getting another. Also, a particular country music artist is probably my favorite.

This is a delightful, easy-drinking flavored whiskey. I appreciate the nuttiness and the peach flavors. Best served over ice!
