It's rather straightforward, but what it offers is so complete and robust that it doesn't need complexity. The finish is of moderate length, with the lingering toasted spice gently and regrettably fading too quickly. The primary drawback of this whiskey is how rapidly the finish concludes. Otherwise, it's outstanding.
