NULU Experimental Finish Series Bourbon Finished in Apple Brandy Barrels

Trying the Single Barrel selected that has a Sherry and Apple brandy finish. First sip, neat, in a Glencairn glass. An aroma of apple and cinnamon. The flavor has apple, cinnamon, and a lingering vanilla. A gentle warmth from the 114.6 proof. Second sip, on ice. The same apple and cinnamon aroma. The ice truly enhances the apple and vanilla. It mellows the finish. Quite pleasant.

The aroma strongly resembles Captain Apple or Crown Apple, with a very pronounced apple scent. The taste is akin to Apple Jacks cereal or apple cider, with prominent baking spices on the finish. It's very delightful and ideal for autumn.
