Neft Vodka

This Austrian vodka is crafted from non-GMO rye and fresh spring water! The aroma presents almond and vanilla. With more time in the glass, notes of mandarin orange and butterscotch emerge. The taste features sweet vanilla, caramel, and a creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Mineral and almond flavors develop, leading to a peak of orange and almond pastry. It concludes with butterscotch and orange. The finish is smooth, semi-dry, and mineral-driven, with notes of vanilla, spicy rye, caramel, almond paste, whole tangerine, and cream. NEFT earned a 98 rating from Tasting Panel Magazine and secured two consecutive Double Gold Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2018 and 2019. Vinepair.com also recognized NEFT as one of their 20 Best Vodkas. The spirit is presented in a recyclable container shaped like a barrel, referencing its name, which means "oil" in Russian.

Not bad, a typical vodka taste, slightly unpleasant but somewhat smooth, though not entirely. Uncertain about our feelings on this one, but the bottle is attractive.
