A delightful aroma of caramel and honey on the nose, with just a trace of nutmeg. Excellent balance of strength and toasted oak on the palate. What was that note? Cardamom? Allspice? An exhilarating finish leaves me dangerously wanting more of this 114 proof wonder.
From barrel # 2772, an Ace Spirits selection. The shop claims it's not MGP, and that its name rhymes with "cookers" and "lookers." This is a fantastic choice; the person who selected it really nailed it. Notes of honey, oak, caramel, and cinnamon. Truly excellent!
This delivers a fantastic, robust experience with classic flavors. Vanilla, caramel, stewed fruit, and some baking spices. Delicious!
