The aroma offers fresh pastry drizzled with honey and vanilla cream, alongside rich berries, red grapes, a cloyingly sweet malt, and potent ethanol. The taste is like mixed berry pie filling, with cardamom, cinnamon, gingerbread topped with maple frosting, and orange blossom. The finish is extended, featuring honey malt, maple, coffee cake, wine grapes, and moderate ethanol. This is currently my top Scotch pick, surpassing previous favorites. It's exceptional, like a supercharged version of Aberlour A'bunadh and Glenfarclas 105 with a 15-year age statement. Remarkably, it's priced lower than Glenfarclas 105. Considering the cost of many 15-year Scotches at lower proof, the value here is extraordinary in today's market. Highly recommended for sherry Scotch enthusiasts.
