The debut Distillery Edition from Milam & Greene is produced entirely at their facility in Blanco, Texas. Its mash bill consists of 70% corn, 22% malted rye, and 8% malted barley. This initial edition, comprising only seven barrels, is exclusively sold at the distillery and is bottled at 60.9% ABV without chill-filtration.

Tonight's sample came from our friends at Milam & Greene. The single barrel, 4-year-old expression delivers a strong creamy vanilla flavor with a spicy finish. Moderate burn for a 118 proof. I enjoy this one neat.
Nose: subtle scent, not much detected beyond some vanilla and mild sweetness Taste: bland flavor, only detected the rye, mild peppery notes that faintly remain. Seems quite diluted.
