It's actually a 13 year single barrel; the 12 year is no longer offered. Sampled neat in a Glencairn. Huge flavor profile! High proof? 127.8 proof. Heavy on the wood, not very approachable. A quality whiskey, robust and flavorful, but more akin to a Stagg Jr profile.
Prominent notes of tobacco and coffee, with a stronger alcohol burn than anticipated. Nothing disagreeable, but not my preferred flavor profile.
