Consumed neat. Selected from a picnic basket. It has buttery vanilla, honey, sweet corn, and apricot notes. Predominantly these bright flavors, but a mocha undertone is subtly present. A hint of dill, which I typically associate with rye. (?). It possesses a pleasant creamy texture, tasting dark and sweet initially. Cocoa and brown sugar flavors are prominent. It's suddenly a vanilla explosion, giving way to some spice. The finish brings back chocolate and rye-like notes. This finish lingers for a very long time. It truly dries out the mouth. I quite enjoyed this. The only other 10-year MGP I've tried was OKI. This exhibits considerably more complexity than I recall from OKI, though it lacks the sweet dessert character that made OKI so memorable. If it evolves over the next few weeks, it shows remarkable potential.

Aroma: Pungent corn and robust caramel, hints of baking spice, vanilla, and a touch of citrus zest. Flavor: A somewhat oily texture, spiced caramel, some oak tannins, light vanilla, and a hint of dark chocolate at the end. Finish: Dry and slightly fiery, with the spice being the most persistent element.
