Domenic Cardenas 3.5

A multi-layered, Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Mannochmore Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. It spent 14 years maturing in former Bourbon barrels before being bottled by Alexander Murray from California at a robust 112.6 proof. Its aroma presents hints of toasted grains, fall fruits, and herbs. Its palate brings forth tree sap, tobacco, pear, apricot, apple, quince, lemon peel, and vanilla. The finish is medium in length, moderately spicy, with suggestions of oak spice, caramel, nuts, peat, and a bonfire. April 2021 / August 2022

Delilah Sherman 3.8

A strong aroma of apple and pear, with a sweet, fruity profile. Mid-palate reveals notes of grain and pepper. I would gladly drink this again if someone else paid, but it lacks complexity for its age and I'm not sure I'd purchase it myself.

Richard Carrera 4.3

Aroma: Subtle fruit notes, including pear, apple, and apricot, with a faint hint of vanilla. Taste: Thick and oily, with bold fruit and zestiness, accompanied by light vanilla and lemon peel. Finish: Rich sweetness that gives way to spice, with a significant burn.

Maeve Maynard 4.3

The cask strength expression is quite potent. It becomes more accessible with water, revealing vanilla and pear sweetness.
