Elliott Stewart 2.8

June 2024 - Dieulouard Light, pale yellow color An unexpectedly alcoholic nose, it smells like poorly made whiskey mixed with honey. An initial spicy palate, the whiskey immediately explodes on the taste buds before leading to a second, alcoholic palate with some woody hints. It concludes with a fruity and honeyed aftertaste on the third palate. A rather average whiskey, with some touches of honey and fruit in the third palate, but realistically, this whiskey doesn't measure up to others in its price range. After giving numerous French whiskies a chance, I believe I must accept the reality... Our French whiskies are like our women: alluring at first glance, full of promise on the first sip... until their bitter taste reveals the deception of their charm... Prefer Eastern European women and Scotch whiskies...
