Lustau Don Nuno Oloroso

This sherry displays a rosy brown hue in the glass, with coating legs. The nose offers hazel and Brazil nuts, earthy vegetal red wine, and a hint of alcohol. In the mouth, it's tart chardonnay, crisp yet savory, with oak and minerals. The finish is sweet, then turns dry, light, and mineral clean. Very enjoyable for sipping, and outstanding in cocktails, which is primarily why I buy sherry, aside from cooking. However, this might tempt me to drink it when I don't want a stronger spirit.
