Harley Ruff 4.3

Nose: Spicy rye, bourbon-like, with hints of grape, cognac, and vanilla. The bourbon influence is strong, with oak. The bourbon barrels clearly dominate the oloroso. It bears some resemblance to Redbreast Lustau. Body: Very full, very spicy. Juicy and mouthwatering. Softer on the finish than expected. Palate: An initial fiery burst, then it oscillates between bourbon and oloroso. Occasionally cognac, oaky spice, vanilla followed by dark fruit, grape, and rich sherry. A fifty-fifty blend of Toboso and bourbon. Finish: A substantial, long-lasting finish. Coats the mouth. Artificial Grape flavor, spice, oak, vanilla. Perhaps a touch of salt? I might be confusing it with spice. Comparable to Redbreast Lustau x 10. Better than I recall.
