About this bottle
Springbank, one of the last distilleries in Campbeltown (once the hub of Scotch whisky production), produces whiskies in three distinct styles. These malts, aged in a variety of casks, including the standard ex-bourbon and ex-sherry, are among the most distinctive available. Longrow, its heavily-peated and twice-distilled label, has existed since 1973. This line complements the flagship Springbank, a lightly-peated, 2.5 times distilled whisky, and Hazelburn, a triple-distilled, unpeated offering. This particular bottling is a 100-proof Longrow that has been matured in ex-bourbon casks. In line with all Springbank products, this malt is neither chill-filtered nor artificially colored.
