My initial experience with Longmorn and my first Gordon&MacPhail bottling. This is not the "Distillery Labels" but the same distillery, year G&M 15 yo Longmorn 2003 (bottled 2017) "Licensed bottling": Nose: Buttered toast. Vanilla. Caramel. Ripe Pears. Barley. Sweet. Palate: Very nice and rich mouthfeel! Vanilla again. Pepper and spices for complexity. Bittersweet. Finish: Warm and rich. A nice hint of bitterness. I like this! Excellent harmony. A very pleasant Speysider!

Like hot pancakes with butter and plenty of syrup. It has a viscous body and a peppery/spicy/tart finish. This is exceptionally good. I already want another bottle!
