This bottling is from a 17 year Loch Lomond cask. The nose is sweet. Reminiscent of cereal milk, ripe banana. The palate, on initial tasting, brings flavors of unsweetened oatmeal and other refined grains. Not very complex in flavors yet what flavors there are linger long. In spite of the 56.2% ABV, it’s a well balanced and easy sipper.
