Legends Barrel Proof Wheated Bourbon Single Barrel Select

This Winter 2020 release is a rich, single barrel Wheated Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Legends Distillery. Its mash bill is 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% barley malt, aged for at least 2 years in American white oak, and bottled at 115 proof. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of grains, wood flowers, herbs, and spices, followed by a rich and spicy middle with wheat toast, sweet corn, honeysuckle, spearmint, maple syrup, oak, vanilla, honey, brown sugar, pecan pie, and almond liqueur. It concludes with a warm, medium-length, candied finish featuring butterscotch, toffee, and candied almonds. December 2021 / August 2022
