An intense whisky from the Tobermory distillery, released under their Ledaig name. This was distilled in May 2001 and aged in a single refill hogshead for 15 years, until March 2017. Douglas Laing then bottled it for their Old Particular range, with 355 bottles produced. It has an aromatic start with notes of peat smoke & creamy vanilla; a bold middle adds notes of smoke & caramel, leading to a long, salty & slightly fiery finish.
