This 1997 vintage, bottled for K&L Wine at an ABV of 55.2%, offers violet and a touch of dairy, like Crème Anglaise, alongside the typical Laphroaig aroma. The palate is robust, even with a bit of water, and features distinctively Asian flavors such as soy, tamarind, tom yum, and black tea. The tamarind note persists into a tangy and slightly sour finish.
