Laphroaig 10 Year Cask Strength, Batch 17, was released in 2023 and bottled at 58.3% ABV (116.6 proof). This whisky is aged for 10 years in used barrels and, unlike the standard 10-year bottling, is only barrier filtered to remove large char particles, allowing the whisky's character to remain prominent. Due to its minimal filtration, the whisky may become hazy when water is added or when temperatures change.
