Second tasting of the evening. 4/5 bottle remaining. The aroma and flavor are reminiscent of chocolate and dessert, perhaps a muffin. There is no alcoholic burn, just a slight tickling. Very smooth and delicate, yet the taste is intense. No grape flavor is present; instead, the wood dominates everything.
