Nice rich notes of vanilla oak, coconut, tea, and burnt toffee. I had trouble finding any distinct flavors on the initial pour from the bottle, but revisiting it a few days later after it had been opened more is proving rewarding. I suspect my palate was off when I first opened it, as the initial pour seemed unexpressive, but now the nose and flavors are very apparent. The 100 proof gives it a nice mouthfeel. The oak is soft considering its 15 years, which is beneficial as it allows the vanilla, toffee, hints of coconut, and sweet tea to come through.
