The apple flavor is evident but overwhelms the already subtle pear notes. It's so syrupy and harsh that I can't even suggest it as a mixer, let alone for sipping on its own. You'd be better off with almost any other green apple liqueur.
Green apple, strawberry, and a hint of cat pee. This performs much better as a mixer than when drunk straight.
