Absolutely delicious. Cask strength versions often differ from their lower proof counterparts, but this is genuinely just a more potent version of the standard Sanaig, which is precisely what I was hoping for.
Nose: smoky, mineral, some berries Palate: builds gradually, sweet chocolate, plum, berries, becoming peppery towards the finish Finish: spicy, nutty, honey, long, smoky, salty, tobacco
Strong, lots of peat at the start, fruity, needs almost no water
Smells amazing, tastes warm, a bit burny
