They've perfectly combined the sherry and peated flavors. It has one of the best initial palates I've experienced from a peated scotch. The finish is a bit medicinal and lengthy for me, which is the only reason I'm giving it a 4.25 instead of a 4.5.

Frankly, not my top choice from Kilchoman. It lacks the richness on the palate found in some of their more intricate expressions. It's distinct in that it's not solely a sherry-forward dram, but it won't be my preferred Kilchoman.
Absolutely love this. Sweet fruit upfront with a rich, buttery peat at the end.
This batch isn't nearly as enjoyable as the one from last year. It's watery, lacks complexity, and has a brief aftertaste that fades quickly.
