My wife found this one harsh, rough, and young. It put her in a bad mood and left me no options. I had to use my charm that night and open the door with a Lag Distillers Edition... my go-to when the initial approach is rough like this scotch. It probably tastes like ass... peaty ass.
Peaty with lingering smoke. Typical of Islay. The aftertaste has notes of Apricot, Pear, and pepper for me. It doesn't linger too long and remains on the palate, not the throat.
Nose: antiseptic+ hide sweet wood. Palate: diluted woody sharp Finish: average
I’m not really into this one. It’s rough, dry, and full of peat and smoke. The smoke completely drowns out the flavor.
