Nose - Bright honey, toasted wheat, donut glaze, orange marmalade, cinnamon Taste - Yellow cake, donut glaze, breakfast pastries, cream cheese danish, nutmeg Finish - Lingering sweetness, vanilla, a hint of orange, nutmeg Score - 84/100 Final Thoughts - Excellent nose, it almost presented like a well-aged grain whisky, feeling a bit too "clean." However, after reading the description on their website and learning it was made using "Irish whiskey techniques" and distilled with a blend of malted and unmalted barley, it made sense. This tasted like a dessert pastry in a glass. Very enjoyable, with nothing unpleasant, but also nothing particularly outstanding.
