The fourth iteration in Jefferson's Aged At Sea series, this expression is crafted from straight bourbon initially matured in new, charred American oak barrels. These barrels are then secured on a marine science vessel for global travel, undergoing months at sea exposed to constant motion, varying weather conditions, and the marine atmosphere. It is bottled at 90 proof.

The initial bite is not too sharp and fades quickly. Strong flavors of Toffee and what I perceive as orange peel, concluding with a very distinct Creme Brulee note! I generally like all Bourbons, and this one ranks highly. This is a delightful "Experimental" bourbon!
So smooth and not overpowering. I've been wanting a bottle, and this glass might convince me!
