Nose: Starts with intensely floral notes, followed by heavy wine, red fruit notes (apple, blackberry, cherry), and rich, buttery oak. Taste: Not harsh, but possesses a consistent and pleasant acidity from sip to finish. It echoes the wine notes from the nose, with smooth, buttery oak. Sweet and rich. Enjoyable throughout.

Taste: Not a strong bite, but a consistent and pleasant acidity throughout the sip leading to the finish. Wine notes are present as anticipated, alongside smooth, buttery oak similar to the nose. It's sweet and rich. Enjoyable from beginning to end.

Finished in Bordeaux wine casks. The wine influence on the nose is well-balanced and enhances the Bourbon. The palate mirrors the nose, with the wine cask integrated harmoniously with the Bourbon. This is easily the finest wine-finished Bourbon I've encountered! At $130, it's difficult to consider it a bargain, but I've tasted many more expensive spirits lacking this quality. My rating was 95.5.

Aroma presents corn, berry, and cherry notes complemented by deep caramel, sweet wine, vanilla, clove, rye spice, and a noticeable ethanol warmth. The palate offers toffee and butterscotch alongside cracked pepper, red wine, grape, and spicy vanilla. There's a gentle to moderate alcohol presence. The finish is brief, with diminishing tannic, tart red wine notes. The wine character is unique, though the sour conclusion is not to my liking.

The aroma is notably distinct and intriguing. It smells full and rich in flavor. It's soft on the palate and offers a unique taste profile. The lingering aftertaste is pleasant. A satisfying choice when you want something different from standard bourbon.

A solid bourbon, no question. My preference for Jefferson's influenced my enjoyment. It's quite pricey. There's a noticeable kick and well-rounded flavors.
