J.P. Wiser's Spiced Whisky Vanilla, a Canadian whisky, features notes of vanilla spice and caramel coloring. It is 86 proof. The spirit is named for John Philip Wiser, who started distilling in Prescott, Ontario, in 1857. His operation once ranked as Canada's third largest distillery.

This is a spirit to savor when you desire something lighthearted. Vanilla is prominent in the name and it truly delivers. A pleasant, subtle spice on the lips with a respectable finish. The vanilla is also easily detectable on the nose. It's on the more affordable end but worth sampling as an easy evening-ender.
The aroma has caramel and maple with sweet vanilla. Spice follows, but it's less intense than the name suggests. The alcohol is a bit sharp in the finish, which is where this falls short compared to other spirits I've recently tried.
Fantastic! Excellent value. Great vanilla taste.
Solid product and not overly pricey.
