Nose: Sweet, smoky delight. Cured meats. Lovely. Palate: Sweetness continues, but with more smoke. A bonfire and sea air blend with a cured bacon mouthfeel. Finish: Medium, with smoke and continuing cured meats. Delicious. Could this be Lagavulin??
Batch 4 Fantastic! The distillery isn't named, but it has a very recognizable character. Offers sweet honey and smoke. Plenty of peat and a remarkably mellow finish that persists. A wonderful pour!
