Ichiro's Malt Chichibu The US Edition 2022

Very good. It has abundant mocha, cinnamon, licorice, and chocolate, along with some grapefruit, honey, vanilla, figs, raisins, and dates. Some retailers, like Blackwell's in San Francisco, mention on their websites that the single hogshead used for this whisky was previously a sherry hogshead.

The taste brings mint and pine cones. The base spirit is prominent, and cereal notes are detectable. It's surprisingly much like a rye.
