Aroma - prominent oak and dark fruits are the main elements here. Caramel, vanilla beans, and even light citrus notes appear as secondary elements. As it develops… more bright red fruits emerge. Flavor - mirrors the aroma but with significantly more red fruits than dark. Overall - Priced at $100, this is quite excellent and appropriately valued. However, I cannot suggest purchasing it for more than this price. 4.65 **** When compared side-by-side with OWA 107, this JR7 is superior in every way. Its appearance is noticeably darker…The aroma is nearly identical but far more pronounced. Everything is bolder and brighter. The palate is also superior. The oils seem to linger longer, extending the finish, and it feels heavier as well. Once again, this is OWA but much more intense.
