About this bottle

High n' Wicked The Judge is a Tennessee straight bourbon crafted from a mash bill consisting of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. It has been aged for at least 14 years in new American oak barrels with a #4 char. Subsequently, it undergoes a 6-month finishing period in ex-Hungarian Tokaji wine casks and is bottled at 104 proof.

Alma Sam 3.8

The nose presents light oak and a sweet aroma, almost like wine or bubblegum, with impressive depth. The palate consists of oak tannin, caramel, and a sweet fruit jam. The finish is medium-long with hints of light cinnamon and toffee. This is a rather good pour, offering both depth and complexity while maintaining a lighter character, and it has a pleasant coating mouthfeel. This expression of a 14-year-old whiskey takes it in an intriguing direction.

Colt Osorio 4.8

A subtle, aged, and faint musty aroma. The flavors are magnificent, featuring deep toffee and wood notes that are perfectly blended, creating a rich and full-bodied experience. A gentle sweetness persists through the finish, which is heavy and velvety. I truly enjoy it. If it had a bit more wood or spice to balance the sweetness, it would be a perfect score.

Davion Rudd 4.0

Really enjoying this one. You can't beat a Tokaji finish, and it pairs perfectly with the age of this spirit. Picked it up on sale for $70 and might purchase another. I wouldn't be disappointed if I had paid full price.

Julius Cain 2.5

Appears and smells fantastic, however, the finish is quite unpleasant.

Buford Dutton 3.8

It's salty at the start and spicy at the finish.

Kimberley Henry 1.0

Dickle stands out. Very dry. Unpleasant
