High n' Wicked The Honorable

Found just one bottle on the shelf at Total Wine. The bourbon expert mentioned they receive them very infrequently, so I felt compelled to buy it, right? It delivers the fruity character and rich taste of a bourbon influenced by wine. A substantial grain presence lingers. It also has a bit more warmth than one might expect from a 90 proof spirit. To answer the question, it's intriguing and complex, and I'm pleased I experienced it. However, I'm less certain about spending $91, and likely wouldn't again. This means I'll need to savor this bottle slowly. I'll bring it out with companions more for the anecdote than for its actual contribution.

For me, this is a very dry whiskey. Perhaps the Cabernet finish contributes to this? Although the taste is satisfying, it does not align with the aroma, which is more pronounced. One of the more intriguing releases I have encountered.

Delicious and my current favorite. Smooth and noticeably superior to other bourbons in the $90-$100 range. I also think it's slightly better than the Bardstown #4, which costs $50 more. Not overly sweet. Just right.

Initial pour. Pale amber color. The aroma has sweet spice. Very smooth with almost no bite and minimal oak. The second sip brings sweet spice. Good mouthfeel, not oily. Lacks depth. I'm hoping it develops further.

Wonderful. Slight cherry, very minimal notes of wine from the cabernet barrels, oak, and much stronger rye flavors than I anticipated given the low percentage. I truly enjoy how the rye comes through.

Hints of leather and tobacco. The aroma gains some sweetness as it sits. On the nose and during the tasting, you get the wine essence of a newly opened cork.
